ABOUT THIS RING

This sensational Art Deco diamond ring, dating from 1920s-30s France, presents geometry raised to a new art form. A high-caliber 1.35 carat European-cut diamond sparkles brightly atop a layered octagonal setting. The beautiful bright white center diamond is accented north and south with four tapered baguette-cut and four square-cut emeralds, and completing the stepped design are eight slender whistle-cut diamonds. The shoulders each sparkle with a graduated line of round diamonds and the parabolic curves of the gallery support the ring with grace and style. The outside of the ring shank displays the vestige of the French maker’s mark. A truly unique, sophisticated and seriously fabulous Art Deco diamond ring or engagement ring for a very lucky lady. Currently ring size 7 3/4.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
