ABOUT THIS RING

A big blue bauble to match your big blue eyes! A high domed (a.k.a. sugarloaf) star sapphire, weighing in at 23 carats, is presented with consummate Art Deco flair and sophistication in this striking cocktail ring dating back to the 1930s.The cornflower blue gemstone (imbued by mother nature with some interesting inclusions ) is embraced on each side with a fan of five bright white baguette diamonds followed by a single square-cut on the top of the ring shank. Handcrafted in platinum with a decoratively pierced side gallery, this impressive stunner evokes the flamboyant jewels of golden age screen goddesses. In a finger size 4 3/4+.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
