A lovely leisurely scene is hand painted in enamel on this darling box in the shape of an artist's palette. The enamel is done in the classic Limoges style and fully covers the exterior and interior. The lid is decorated with a beautiful lady in pink reclining while listening to her suitor play the flute. The bottom and sides are decorated with a traditional landscape scene. The inside is painted with a floral motif. A delightful addition to any collection. Minor scratches.
