9.75 mm cultured pearls delicatly drop from a half carat round brilliant cut diamond. The pearls exhibit the special qualities of mid century cultured pearls. Pearls cultivated in oysters left in the water for many years exhibit a soft lusterous quality and were typically a light cream rose as these are. The rarity of size and smoothness of surface makes these pearls true gems. The diamonds are also gem quality, VVS2/VS1 clarity and G color and are cut in the transitional round brilliant style we see in the mid 20th century. These earrings are a real find and not duplicatable in new material. Executed in 14 karat wihite gold these screw style earrings can be converted for pierced ears.
