A rare specimen indeed. A golden butterfly perfectly preserved from Victorian times. Elongated pear shaped peridots and diamonds and old-mine cut diamonds make up the wings and a slender old-mine cut marquise and round diamond compose the body. And, just for fun, two rare Russian green demantoid garnets are set into the eyes. Sweet and lovely as can be in excellent, original condition. This 18 karat yellow gold brooch measures just under 1 inch tall by 1 3/8 inch wide. The Gemstones are described as follows:Two Pear Shaped PeridotsWeight: 1.50 carats total weightTwelve Mixed Cut DiamondsWeight: 1.50 carats total weightColor: H-JClairty: SI
