Finely executed silver over 14K yellow gold Victorian crescent pin. This gorgeous pin is centered with a beautiful pale lavender cushion cut sapphire and further set with two rows of well cut old mine and European cut diamonds. The crescent moon motif was quite popular in later Victorian jewelry and this particular piece dates to around 1885-1895. The measurements are 2 3/8 inches long by a little more than 3/8 inch wide.
