A real rarity, this diamond free crescent pin is composed entirely of gemmy Burma rubies in an array of deep raspberry reds. The gallery is artfully sculpted in the French style to incorprate the prongs into the design. This piece was evidently converted many years ago to its present use as a pin and one ruby has a suface imperfection - all else is original from a century and a half ago. A beauty.
