Antique Diamond and Pearl Stomacher #50-1-861

An Antique silver over 14K gold small stomacher with flowing floral and foliate design that foreshadows the whiplash lines of Art Nouveau. This piece is set with eleven old mine cut diamonds (1.00 carat total weight, H-K color, SI clarity) and 153 rose cut diamonds (2.00 carats total weight) with a dark grey cream pearl drop (6.75 X 7.5 mm), circa 1900. These extravagantly scaled pieces were worn pinned to the bodice of a dress. This pin measures 3 1/8 X 2 1/8.
