During the 1940s women joined the war effort and started working in factories. The jewelry of the Retro period reflected the mechanical workplace (remember Rosie the Riveter) and this suite consisting of a bracelet and necklace are a classic example of flexible coiled and wrapped rose colored gold remenisent of industrial gas pipes. Crafted in 14 karat. The necklace flexes from 16 to 17 inches in length, the bracelet flexes from 6 to 7 inches in length and both measure a bit over 1/2 inch in width.
