A significant, irregularly cut, oval white opal exhibiting a blue, green, orange and yellow color palette is ensconced in this rare, fabulous and versatile Art Nouveau pendant, necklace and pin . A lovely array of sculpted leaves and flowers form the textured gold frame with an opal 10.3 mm bead dangling from the bottom. The removable 14 karat yellow gold chain, which can be worn alone, is composed of double sided floral links separated by elongated oval, open links and measures 22 inches long. The diamond bail folds down when worn as a pin. Significant crazing on the opal - not unusual for a piece of this vintage - circa 1900. Hallmarked F PINI.
