ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

A truly magnificent, rare and gorgeous suite of jewelry, circa 1900 in the scarce Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau style. Sectional plaques of graceful, feminine scroll-work and leaf motifs provide the backdrop for small lustrous, multi-color Mississippi river pearls, alternating with microscopically granulated gold beads. The plaques are accented with a sprinkling of tiny diamonds set in white gold leaves and bezels. A truly enchanting and superlative suite of fine vintage jewels. We believe these to be British made; stamped '18c't, 'S&F'. The clip earrings measure 7/8 inch by 1/2 inch. The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches by 1/2 inch. The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches long by 1/4 - 5/8 inch wide.
