ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
Darling diamond earrings from nineteenth-century Paris. A pair of deeply-cut antique old-mine cut diamonds, weighing .60 carats, twinkle atop double buttercup settings crafted in 18 karat yellow gold and bearing Parisian assay marks. A tiny rose-cut diamond serves as the catch for the French wire backs. Some minor vestiges of former black enamel accents are visible, which we think adds nicely to the overall antique patina. Circa 1890.
