A charming hand fabricated Orchid pin of good proportions (2" by 1 1/2") depicts the national flower of Venezuela, known as the Flor de Mayo- May flower, Mayito - Little May) and Flor del Nazareno - Flower of the Nazarene. Textured gold leaves with a soft, aged patina further enhanced with nugget style gold overlay dates this piece from the mid-20th century.
