A lovely, classic Victorian twin-stone ring featuring a high-quality, old Siamese ruby of a deep, vibrant magenta-red color, paired with a dazzling white European cut diamond. Both stones measure approximately 1.15 carats each. The "18 ct" (hence, of British origin) and platinum setting was apparently (expertly) remade sometime back to replace the worn-out 100 plus year old original. Now this may be worn daily without worry. A beauty.
