A bright and beautiful 1.51 carat European-cut diamond is set low in a finely milgrained hexagonal setting which, to the naked eye, makes the diamond appear even larger. The gracefully domed bombe mounting is highly embellished, without the aid of smaller diamonds, with open scroll work combined with geometric design elements and fine milgraining. A stunning and sizable late-Edwardian- early-Art Deco style engagement ring at an affordable price. The diamond is old, circa 1915; the mounting is a reproduction.
