This fabulous, original, Art Deco engagement ring features a bright and shining 2.36 carat European-cut diamond radiating from within an octagonal setting. The diamond is embellished in consummate Art Deco fashion with striking royal blue, French-cut, calibre sapphires (synthetic) adorning a finely pieced, milgrained and hand-engraved platinum and diamond mounting. The gently domed mounting is sometimes referred to as a bombe' mounting. A truly gorgeous Art Deco treasure, circa 1925.
