This rare and superlative original Victorian engagement ring proudly highlights a beautiful 1.18 carat antique cushion-cut diamond, which, although of imperfect clarity, lacks no sparkle or brilliance whatsoever. The diamond is held aloft by six chiseled prongs in a stylized buttercup setting. The ring shank is artfully adorned with deeply carved, consummate, but restrained, Victorian ornamentation.
