This dynamic and dazzling, original Art Deco diamond ring, circa 1920s, shines front and center with a big, bright and sparkling European-cut diamond - weighing 1.87 carats. The beautiful diamond is set in a double-tiered and double-milgrained octagonal setting which lends extra dimension to the outline of the already quite sizable diamond. The magnificent platinum and diamond setting is adorned with a trio of electric blue, French-cut calibre sapphires tapering down each shoulder; and sides of the mounting are masterfully pierced with a consummate, geometric Art Deco pattern enlivened with tiny, single-cut diamonds. By any standard, this is a remarkable and gorgeous Art Deco jewel.
