Antique Diamond, Demantoid Garnet and Ruby Butterfly Ring

A rare butterfly specimen with one diamond and one ruby eye and asymmetrical demantoid ruby markings. The highly stylized design also creates a heart. Elegantly crafted in 14 karat yellow gold during the late-nineteenth/very early-twentieth century. 11/16 inch by 1/2 inch.
