An impeccable and pristine original diamond engagement ring, masterfully handcrafted in platinum, dating from the zenith of the Art Deco period - circa 1925-1930. A gorgeous European-cut diamond, weighing .90 carat (but which appears considerably larger in the setting), is embraced on each side by a diamond-set scroll which seamlessly emerges from the sparkling 'V' shape shoulders. A row of tiny twinkling diamonds also enliven the top and bottom of the center diamond, and intricately rendered decorative openwork imbues the side gallery. A triple-sided hand engraved ring shank adds the finishing flourish to this consummate and breathtakingly beautiful vintage engagement ring. Magnifique!
