During WWII our armed forces required platinum for strategic purposes and substituted palladium (a more peaceful precious metal) for jewelry production. Thus, we can confidently date this classic late-Art Deco engagement ring to the early-1940s. A bright and lively three-quarter carat old mine-cut diamond shines between a pair of classic diamond-studded Art Deco motifs which lead to a sleek knife-edge ring shank. A beauty.
Most rings can be sized up or down one size unless noted and sometimes more.
