A row of five bezel-set, old mine-cut diamonds cascades atop the gentle curve of this quintessential early-Art Deco Jewel, circa 1920. The background and frame are delicately adorned with fine decorative openwork and a glittering array of small old mine-cut and single-cut diamonds. The barrette is masterfully hand fabricated to the highest exacting standard and, as a testament to this fact, is lovely from the backside as well as the front. This exemplary, rare and wonderful jewel measures 1 3/8 inches by 5/8 inch.
