An exceptional and original sapphire and diamond three-stone ring from the late 19th century. A light medium blue sapphire weighing 5.38 carats displaying distinct violet overtones is nestled in a coronet setting and flanked by antique cushion cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.15 carats. The 14 karat rosy-yellow gold mounting exemplifies classic Victorian detailing. This jewel of ring is in excellent, crisp condition after 100 plus years.
