A horizontally set, gemmy Burmese ruby of about 1.00 carat is enveloped by an array of closely set old mine cut diamonds. The older gemstones, circa 1910-1920, were evidently remounted into this lovely, soft domed mounting of a timeless design with both a vintage and yet contemporary feel.
