A truly stunning, original early-Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring, finely handcrafted in platinum, circa 1920, and featuring a deep Burmese-blue sapphire weighing just about one-and-a-half carats. The gently domed and exquisitely ornamented mounting is adorned throughout with delicate decorative openwork, fine milgraining and hand engraving with a high-quality European-cut diamond sparkling on each shoulder. Few come finer than this precious and pristine vintage jewel.
