Unbeknownst to this old-fashioned bonnie lass, her bonnet is inhabited by a pair of Janus-faced gents who can't tell if they're coming or going. All three beings are masterfully handcarved in fleshy pink atop a white background in this rare and superlative Victorian hardstone cameo ring, elegantly crafted in rosy-yellow gold with raised scroll shoulders. Circa 1850.
