Victorian Natural Pearl and Diamond Ring

An exquisite antique pearl and diamond ring centering on a natural silvery-gray 8mm pearl with mauve overtones. The shimmering pearl is set in a mine-cut diamond surround, set in 18k yellow gold with graceful scrollwork shoulders. Romantically engraved inside the hoop are the initials "M.M." and the date "2nd June, 1868". Partial maker's mark in the shank. A rare and wonderful antique ring.
