Art Deco Platinum and Diamond Bracelet by Gilpin & Smith

We don't know of Gilpin & Smith, the jewelers who signed this sublime Art Deco jewel, but they sure knew what they were doing. This exquisitely ornamented bracelet, masterfully handcrafted in platinum, dates back to the zenith of the Art Deco period - circa 1925-1930. The quarter inch-wide bracelet features eight bright and sparkling European-cut diamonds, together weighing 3.25 carats. Each of these main diamonds alternate with ornate, decoratively pierced and delicately milgrained filigree sections glistening with four old mine-cut diamonds - bringing the total diamond weight of the bracelet to 4.50 carats. This truly stunning jewel from the roaring twenties measures 7 1/8 inches long.
