Sapphire Flower Brooch by J. E. Caldwell & Co

J. E. Caldwell is one of America's oldest and finest jewelers. 5.00 carats of oval-cut blue and violet sapphires make up the flower head of this wonderful mid-century-vintage brooch. The 18K yellow gold stem is enhanced by gracefully curving leaves and a multi-colored trio of dew drops including a round-cut emerald , a round-cut diamond, and a round-cut pink sapphire. Stamped JEC&CO, circa 1950s. This lovely and collectable pin measures 2 1/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches.
