An exceptional, high relief carving of a Greek or Roman gent of ambiguous classical beauty. This very thick, deeply carved agate cameo is displayed in a wonderfully detailed, high carat frame of extra fine filigree work depicting realistic branches decorated with lilies and leaves. A bold and beautiful antique pin from the 19th century. 3 inches by 2 3/16.
