This magnificent and exotic Japonesque natural jade treasure in platinum and diamonds with tiny sapphire accents hails from the peak of the Art Deco era - circa 1925. The lustrous, rich forest green jadeite carving captures an idyllic Japanese scene replete with a pagoda and a walking bridge spanning rushing waters. The jadeite alone measures 1 3/4 inch at its base and 1 1/4 inch tall. The platinum, diamond and sapphire frame carries through with the pagoda motif. A rare, beautiful, charming and exemplary collectible. The jade is accompanied by a GIA laboratory report stating natural color.
