14K yellow gold, rectangular mourning brooch, featuring an elaborate braid of hair under glass, framed with an unusually ornate border of gold foliate engraving, surrounded by a geometric enameled white on black motif. The piece was hand engraved with I.H.Haynes on the back in script.
