Georgian 15 Karat Gold and Garnet Brooch

This rare and wonderful two-section antique brooch, circa early-to-mid 1800s, is masterfully rendered in a multi-dimensional trefoil design overlaid with richly textured leaves budding with glistening garnet and chrysoberyl fruits. Delicate hand engraving and a distinctive bead motif add the finishing touches. The dangling drop is detachable. 2 1/4 inches by 1 7/16 inches.
