Cartier Tonneau Watch

Cartier first crafted the Tonneau, or barrel in English - a nod to its shape - watch in 1906. The elegant oblong design gently curves with the arc of the wrist and is finished with Roman numeral chapter markers and an etched dial. This larger, 18 karat yellow gold model is a manual wind with French hallmarks and could easily be worn by a lady or a gent. This model was originally purchased in San Francisco, circa 1987. The initials 'J.R.J' are inscribed on the reverse.
