Cartier Diamond and Platinum Necklace c.1929

1286234963_Main_View_1_1_cartierreceipt1

An absolutely stunning, transitional style - late Edwardian / early Art Deco - platinum and diamond necklace signed Cartier. This magnificent treasure is accompanied by Cartier's original bill of sale from New York - dated January 18, 1929 - the height of Cartier's jewelry artistry. In the case of this particular piece, the necklace was evidently custom ordered by the original client (a single owner piece!) to compliment the client's beautiful bell shape diamond pendant (unsigned). A rare and exquisite vintage diamond necklace by the world's foremost jeweler. The unredacted original bill of sale is included. The pendant can also be worn on its own.
