Edwardian Diamond and Pearl Necklace

This thoroughly lovely, light and lacy Edwardian necklace artfully exemplifies the femininity and romanticism for which Edwardian jewels are deservedly renowned. The center of the lithe and willowy pendant is graced with an open honeycomb motif which is draped on each side with a flowing paisley design, each glittering with a row of tiny old mine-cut diamonds. The top of the cartouche is outlined with a strand of pearls and three pearl and diamond pendants dance below. This gorgeous pendant measures 2 inches long and suspends from a 15 inch pearl-punctuated 18 karat white gold chain. Circa 1900 and dreamy.
