Few if any come sweeter than this masterfully crafted lavalier necklace, die-struck and hand finished by the renowned American jewelry manufacturer from Newark, New Jersey (once upon a time the world's capital of gold jewelry production) - Krementz. This ravishing jewel most likely hails from the early 1920s, and spans both the Edwardian and Art Deco design periods. A central round faceted aquamarine is embellished north and south by a glistening old mine-cut diamond atop a sleekly modeled shield-shape cartouche, rendered in gold and platinum with delicate filigree ornamentation. The beautiful pendant measures 1 1/2 inches. Stamped with Krementz trademark.
