A rare and ravishing nineteenth-century necklace featuring a removable pendant locket exquisitely shaped and delicately adorned with graceful Victorian Etruscan Revival style granulation and crowned with an artfully contrasting rose gold bead. The 20-inch chain is composed of lithe and supple braided mesh capped with three decorative terminals. A consummate and collectable keepsake - circa 1860. The locket and matching loop measure 1 3/4 inches.
