A fun, festive and fanciful tassel necklace dating back to the first or second decades of the twentieth century. A many-stranded tassel dances below a glittering rose-cut diamond umbrella surmounted by a an exotic diamond-set fan motif, all of which swing and sway from a shimmering white gold chain of small natural pearls. A rare, wonderful and original late-Edwardian/early-Art Deco sautoir - circa 1915.
