A magnificently ornamented, multi-dimensional Victorian pendant and brooch centering on an elongated oval cabochon garnet overlaid with a sparkling diamond-set star. The concentric oval shaped sections are adorned with delicate Etruscan Revival granulation and twisted wire designs. A multi-strand tassel dances below this remarkable 1 3/4 inches wide original Victorian keepsake with an open locket compartment on the reverse. Crafted in warmly patinated 18 and 14 karat yellow gold.
