This unique and ravishing lavalier necklace dates back almost to the turn-of-the-twentieth century - most probably circa 1910. An exotically designed openwork center section, crafted in 14 karat white gold over 18 karat yellow gold, sparkles with ten old-mine cushion-cut diamonds set in finely milgrained bezels. The diamond section is surmounted by a raspberry-pink sapphire and dangles with three more of the same, all of which are bezel set in 18 karat gold and total 3.50 carats. One of the sapphire dangles has a small surface chip that we decided to leave alone (and all-original). The pendant measures 2 inches long.
