Belle Époque Diamond Stomacher or Choker

'Absolutely exquisite' is an understatement in describing this magnificent articulated diamond plaque, that we feature on a black velvet sash, and which we believe originates from fin de siècle France, although no hallmarks are apparent. The 3 1/8 inches wide by 2 1/16 inch high jewel is masterfully handcrafted in silver over gold in five virtually seamless sections which gracefully curve around your neck or torso. Three freely swinging diamond pendants suspend from glistening garlands, surmounted by a bow and framed by tiny rose-cut diamonds. A truly ravishing rarity for the most special of occasions. With minor alteration, this can become the centerpiece of a satin or velvet choker necklace. 8.50 carats total diamond weight.
