An exquisitely fashioned Edwardian/early-Art Deco platinum and diamond pendant, circa 1915-1920, surmounts a sparkling one carat pear-shaped diamond drop that, judging from its more recent cut, was presumably added at a later date. The stylized bell-shape top glitters with delicately milgrained, collet-set European and single-cut diamonds enhanced with decorative open space and tiny twinkling bead-set diamonds. Truly a 'marriage made in heaven'. 1 1/4 inches long, the new 14 karat white gold chain measures 18 inches.
