Thirty patinated silver amphorae, dotted with daisies and featuring turquoise cabochons in a wide array of blues and greens, form this enchanting late-nineteenth century Austro-Hungarian fringe necklace. The amphora links measure 1 inch long by 1/2 inches wide, necklace measures 17 inches long. The hallmarks tell us this lovely necklace was made of 800 silver in Pest, Hungary between 1872 and 1922, and to our eyes it looks circa 1890.
