Britannia Metal

Britannia metal is an alloy of pewter developed in England in the 18th century that is lead-free. It polishes more easily than traditional pewter and tarnishes less. The chemical composition is tin (91%), copper (2%) and antimony (7&).
This should not be confused with the "Britannia silver" standard.
