Guilloche

Guilloche is a metal engraving style of concentric design made by mechanical means. Often the design was covered by transparent enamels. This technique was especially popular around the fin-de-siecle period and Fabergé used this technique extensively in his jewelry, clocks and other "objects of virtu".
