The second volume of the Photoatlas counts a staggering 826 pages. The first 283 are devoted to background information on the genesis, study and interpretation of inclusions in gemstones. The rest of the book brings us a wealth of images captured by the authors: Gübelin and Koivula. Volume 2 covers the gems of commercial importance. Just like volume 1; this book is absolutely recommendable!
