Talk:Brunswick Blue

from the Antique Jewelry University

Very confusing....

Tim, Please read Brunswick Blue and tell me what you think. This was very difficult to write because it involves a lot of speculation. Also, the Tavernier Blue morphs into the Blue Diamond of the Crown also known as the French Blue which becomes the Hope. Whew! Let me know if it's understandable and give me any comments you might have.

New and Improved Brunswick Blue!

Tim, I have submitted an all new article on the Brunswick Blue Diamond. I removed all references to the possibility that this diamond was fashioned during the recut of the French Blue to the Hope. The subject still requires that I put forth the theory that it may have come from the Tavernier Blue - the rough that eventually became the Hope - otherwise I'm left with no story. I made it VERY clear that this is only a possible origin and that there is no hard fact to support it. This should satisfy everyone. The article in G&G about the French Blue really had little to do with my story, but I waded through it an used some tangential information so that scholarly readers will be aware that this important source was researched and cited. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Mary
