Vesica piscis

The Vesica piscis (from Latin: fish bladder) is an almond shape that is created by the cross section of two overlapping circles. This motif was used in the late Gothic period. Three interlocking vesica piscis were used as a Celtic knot in Celtic jewelry and other art disciplines.
