Queen Victoria's rein, circa 1880, and was crafted in Birmingham, England. The Greco-Etruscan motifs of the highly detailed collar are of the Castellani and Guiliano school and the delightful locket features a marvelous rose gold Neo-Classical Architectural Revival motif. When not being worn, this extraordinary treasure resides in its original, monogrammed, tortoise-shaped leather and purple silk velvet custom-fitted case, a special collector's treat. With English hallmarks. Locket measures 1 1/2 inches across, 2 1/2 inches long (including bale), collar measures 17 inches long and is one inch wide.
